Greetings Saints Family,

Ms. Lynch-Willis (1st Grade Teacher at CGES) has given an excellent suggestion as to how we could be of service to those in need in Texas, as a result of Hurricane Harvey. We have before us an opportunity to teach our students what citizenship looks like in practice.

We are  encouraging  students to bring in shoe boxes with the following items inside:

• Hand Sanitizer
  
• A bottle of water
  
• Toothbrush
  
• Toothpaste
  
• Mouthwash
  
• Deodorant
  
• Face Towels
  
• Body Wash
  

Students will also write thoughtful cards to attach to each box, but we are also in need of parent volunteers to help us wrap the boxes. We would like to have all items in, boxed and wrapped by THIS Friday since Labor Day is approaching, and there is no school on Monday. We will recognize the classes with the most boxes and volunteers. Thanks in advance for being IDEAL Saints!
